Privacy Policy

This page explains what Coverdisc does with information from visitors. It is short because the site collects very little.

Server logs

Like almost every website, this one runs on a web server that records requests. Those logs may include an IP address, the page requested, a timestamp, the referring page and the browser’s user agent string. They are used to keep the site running and to diagnose faults, and they are rotated and discarded on the host’s normal schedule.

Cookies

The site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The publishing software may set a cookie if someone signs in to administer the site, which does not apply to ordinary visitors.

Comments

Comments are closed across the site, so no commenter names, addresses or messages are stored.

Email

If you write to the address on the contact page, that message is kept in an ordinary mailbox for as long as it is useful to keep it. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list, and it is not passed to anyone else.

Other sites

Articles sometimes link to other websites. Once you follow such a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy practices, not these.

Your information

If you have written in and want the message deleted, ask and it will be deleted. Requests are handled by reply to the same address.

This page will be updated if the site’s practices change.
